This video has launched a new American birthday tradition. For the past 10 years my friends and I have been regifting each other the same copy of Welcome to Mooseport.
We also watch it at least once a year.
It deserves a million views an 5 stars.

Been done
Random stick figure 5 second clip montage humor is good, and this was a fine instance of it, but it has been done a million times and does not deserve to be the #1 on Newgrounds.
Community, stop failing!
That said, it was well done; definitely should be sitting at a fat and happy 3.8 to 4.00 out of 5.00
The Best Day Ever
This video was just about perfect, the best animation ever.
The ending twist is the best part, but it should have been longer!
Intro... was... too.. long...
It looked very pretty, but after 2 minutes of watching names bubble away I gave up and assumed that the movie contained nothing but credits.
Add a skip button or display more names at once to make the opening faster!
You have a great life
It made me laugh:D
of course, as you know, it wasn't TECHNICALLY very good, but it had a deeper meaning, I could tell.
Not bad at all:)
Before I say anything, I just want to say that I think many of the reviewers behind me are being a bit overcritical here; I know some have already mentioned this, but I thought that it was important to add another voice to the group of people saying you did a good job.
As for the flash itself, like I said, It was not bad! Of course there is always room for improvement, but i'll start off with the good stuff. The music was good on top of being fine quality, although that isn't very hard to do compared to animation so long as you have good taste.
Speaking of animation, I think you did a good job at that as well. It is clear that you are working towards the point where you are good enough at animation that you will soon be able to develop your own styles. You aren't there YET probably, maybe two or three more animations away, but you have the cartoony look down just fine (which works well for Lemon Demon), and all the motions were nice and fluid. I would suggest you keep up the good work; at this point I think practice will make perfect.
Now for some constructive criticism. There were only two significant flaws that I found in this flash: Lip synching, and lack of subtitles. In a music video you don't have to worry about making up dialogue or recording anything, but you DO need to be sure that people can understand the lyrics that are being sung in order for them to fully appreciate the song and your visual interpretation. For that, the simple solution (which is not too hard to implement) is lyrics going along the bottom. If you REALLY wanted to be flash you could somehow incorporate them into the animation itself, but that could also be something that would take away if done poorly. The next thing that you should really try to do in a music video is make sure the visuals match up perfectly with the music. This is particularly difficult, as you probably figured out, but it adds a lot to the experience (for instance, it would have been if the drummer dino was hitting on beat). For things like beats you can maybe make a temporary layer and take a half hour to map out where all the beats are by drawing dots in the frames that hold them. And yeah, the t-rex/neil were a bit off at points, but you will get that down as you get more experience.
So yeah, once again, keep up the good work and please continue to submit it!

So yeah I realized after my last review that you WERE the guy who made the other lemon demon flashes! So scratch all the stuff about style:P it is your own (i wasn't harsh at all, but when I wrote it i was uninformed)."
I just wanted to clarify to anyone reading this for the misunderstanding. Thanks for the critique
Not bad
First, I don't know what the person behind me is talking about. File size should play no factor in a person's vote or the quality of a flash unless the file is too LARGE... a small file size is generally a good thing as long as the movie itself is not lacking.
As for the movie, it was an excellent first time. I was surprised to find myself mildly amused, since movies with young voice actors tend to be terrible. I liked the style, particularly the mouths, although you could do a little bit better with the synching (right now it doesn't actually look like they are mouthing the words that are being said, it just looks like their mouths are moving).
The length was a bit short for my liking, and there wasn't too much in terms of plot (you were moving in a 'random plot' direction, which is fine, but you didnt actually go anywhere since the flash was so small)
All of that being said, the humor was OK, emo jokes are a dime a dozen these days but you werent too gratuitous with it.
So yeah, it was not bad for a first attempt. Your animating style is fine for now, of course you will develop it naturally as you make more flash. Work on your synching and maybe try storyboarding the flash so you can produce something with a little more content. Good luck on future creations!
I thoguht it was ok
I have seen submissions that are far worse than this. The fact that it was a parody took away from some orginality, but really i thought it was funny at times. The text rhymed, there was a storyline (if you disagree then clearly you dont understand the value of pudding). Anyway, the flash wasnt stellar, the visuals weren't stellar, but then again you obviously at least spent SOME time on this, for instance, you clearly used more than one layer. That's always a plus!
This flash's quality met the point, which was simply to make a parody of an already created flash. I wouldn't expect someone to spend hours making all the imagery crystal clear when they are just trying to create something slightly witty based on an already submitted flash.
The end! i gave a 2/5
I wasn't as impressed as the others
I'll start off by saying that you clearly know how to write flash movies that aren't blatantly terrible; however, I dont feel that this is an example of a breathtaking animation.
The graphics were above average, detailed enough and they looked like what they were supposed to look like. The voices could be understood just fine, and although there were a couple times when the lip sync wasn't perfect, you did a pretty good job at it.
Although there was a clever part or two, the overall story wasn't great (it works fine in the actual movie/book, but as a standalone scene it doesnt spark too much interest). The underlying joke wasnt a gem either, more could have been done.
The real issue here is that the script was patched in between being serious and being funnny, and in the end it didnt do a great job at either because of that. If you had thrown in more gags and lines of your own i feel it would have drastically improved the script. Then again, it worked well for what it was.
There is more that I could say but I wont continue to babble.
Basically, this flash was fine, not bad, not extremely amazing, just fine. You do have talent though so keep up the good work!
Thx for the detailed review. You made some good points, but it's only meant to be a little short. Nothing major or anything. Thanks for being positive overall and not going 'OMGLOL THIS SUXORS'
Nothing interesting to say... i guess i'll come back here to write something when i get a life
